Everyday makeup

I realised I hadn’t done a proper makeup post since February and some of the products I use have changed since then so here is an update for those interested!

I don’t wear a lot of makeup everyday, even for occasions I never wear foundation, so I’d consider my routine fairly simple and easy, even if it still takes me a good hour to do! I’m going to list everything I use in order because I’m super organised!

Bioderma Photoderm Tinted Aquafluid – Feel Unique – I’m including this as part of my makeup routine, even though I have included it in skincare before, just because it really replaces foundation for me. It gives me a more even skintone as well as giving it some colour. I’ve been using this moisturiser everyday for months and I absolutely love it, it’s definitely the best I’ve tried so far. 100% recommend!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Green) – Superdrug – I bought this recently after seeing it floating around YouTube and I was pleasantly surprised, I don’t use it everyday but it’s really good at at covering any red marks/spots!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (2 – Cool Medium) – Superdrug, Boots – I have been using this concealer years, I’ve only strayed from it once to try an Estee Lauder one, but even that which was 5x the price doesn’t beat Collection!

Tanya Burr Perfect Brows Palette – Feel Unique – This is another product you would have to drag me away from… I’ve been using this years, again, I did stray to a brow pomade but they aren’t as easy to apply and just don’t work well for me. I just use the bottom right shade to enhance my brow shape!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – Boots, Feel Unique – This is my favourite part of my routine, I couldn’t do my makeup without bronzer… It’s matte, so it’s not shimmery which is perfect for the look I prefer. I probably make two purchases of these a year, which is really good, baring in mind I sit applying it for a good 20 minutes. So you’re getting your moneys worth!

Morphe 25B Bronzed Mocha Palette – Morphe – I love Morphe palettes, I have a couple of others but this one is my favourite. I mainly uses browns, reds and oranges on my eyes and this palette has 25 shades as well as some lovely shimmers. Morphe is so affordable and they have some amazing palettes, I don’t think I would spend the ABH/Urban Decay prices on eyeshadow as I couldn’t justify it!

Sleek Solstice Highlighter – Boots, Feel Unique – I use the bottom left shade in the inner corners of my eyes aswell as on my cheekbones sometimes. This palette has lasted me ages and I use it everyday! Using highlighter in the inner corner of your eyes really brighten them up in my opinion and I can usually tell if I don’t have it on!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – Superdrug, Boots, Feel Unique – Everyone raved about this mascara at one point and it’s honestly so good, I’ve been using this years aswell… This is why I don’t do makeup posts very often! But Maybelline is one of the best for mascaras, they make your lashes so long and not clumpy.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (5 – Silky Beige) – Superdrug, Feel Unique, Boots – If you know me, you’ll know I whip this out throughout the day to control any shine. I own about 5 of these and am always carrying one! If the name of the product doesn’t give it away already, this powder keeps you looking matte which is something I need!

NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel – Boots, Feel Unique – Everyone needs this eyebrow gel, if you have brows that need to be kept in place, you need to go and buy this! My eyebrow powder doesn’t move all day with this on them!

Kiko 3D Hydra Gloss (22 – Chestnut) – Kiko Milano – I love gloss and I’ve been wanting to try a Hydra gloss from Kiko for months, I wasn’t disappointed as the shade I got was a perfect nude. Once it’s dried a little it isn’t sticky which is rare with glosses, so I was pleased about that!

Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray – Feel Unique – I’m not sure if this controls my shine as much as I hoped it would as I still have to use my matte powder (not as often though!) I don’t use foundation or huge amounts of concealer so maybe if I did, I would notice more of a difference. I just have to finish off my makeup with a setting spray as it wouldn’t be complete without it.
