I’ve been editing my photos, even if it was just a filter for as long as I can remember. Since I started blogging and began using a camera, I became more interested in how I could make the photos look better. I only edit photos on my phone and all the apps I use are free so feel free to download them and give them a try!
Lightroom – Apple, Google Play – I only started using Lightroom recently as I thought you had to pay for it but you actually get a lot of settings free! I had to watch a few tutorials first as it can be confusing if you don’t know what anything means! Lightroom really enhances any photos and you can create some amazing images on there. I mainly use it for photos I post on my blog but I’ll leave a before and after photo to show you what you can do at the end of this post.
VSCO – Apple, Google Play – I’ve been using VSCO for around three years and it’s the best app for filters! I can always tell if someone uses VSCO just by looking at their photo but they have a variety of filters depending on the look you’re going for! You can plan your Instagram feed on the app as well, I don’t do this as I have too many photos in my ‘Studio’. The filter I’m currently using and have been using for a few years on my personal Instagram is P5, I just change the exposure and temperature every so often.
Inpreview – Apple – Inpreview is perfect for organising your Instagram feed if you have a theme like me, I have to make sure the colourings of the photos are similar so it flows together. My Instagram is very constructed, as are most people’s!
Squaready – Apple, Google Play – I’ve had Squaready on my phone for honestly the longest time, it must be going on 5 years! I’ve always had a border around my Instagram photos as I think it looks better and makes my feed flow…
