B&W Stripes ft. Fornever

We’re back with another classic OOTD featuring a slogan tee. These photos are some of my favourites ever, especially because we were indoors and not freezing to death outside!!

Bellenciaga Tee – Fornever Clothing – I discovered Fornever Clothing whilst scrolling through Instagram a few months ago and have been following them ever since. Their designs are so unique and they have items that I’ve never seen anywhere else which is what I love about them! Their website is definitely worth a look at if you haven’t already as they stock t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with cool designs on them. Click here for a 20% off code aswell! For reference my tee is in a size large but I did cut it shorter.

Jamie Jeans – Topshop – Probably will never stop raving about Jamie Jeans… Literally the comfiest, best fitting jeans ever. I’ve had these particular ones nearly a year and they haven’t faded that much either. Jamie Jeans come in loooads of different colours, with rips and raw hems etc.

Striped canvas belt from Missguided. Similar at PLT, I Saw It First, New Look – I love belts at the minute, I have some in mind that I need to find and purchase because they make a relatively plain outfit look more interesting. Tape belts like the one I’m wearing are super edgy and really easy to style.

Old Skool Vans – Vans – I had to pair these Vans with this outfit as they tie in with the striped belt. These Old Skools are such a staple and are very easy to throw on with anything as they are black and white. They’re also so comfy, like all Vans!

White AF1 & Blue Denim

I have been struggling with what to post recently as the weather is so cold at the moment in England so going out to get photos isn’t very appealing! However I am back with another outfit post, this one is very chilled and sums up what I’ve been wearing for the past few weeks.

Hoodie – PLT – PLT hoodies are sooo comfy, I feel like everyone raves about them! They’re so cheap as they usually have discount codes out too. I love wearing white, it’s probably my favourite colour. There’s no other colour that goes better with blue denim than white either! PLT have these hoodies in so many colours, I have a few others because they’re so easy to throw on. The size I’m wearing is a small, as they are oversized.

Amelie Jeans from River Island. Similar at Topshop, River Island – I’ve had these jeans a long time but I really love the fit of them. They’re also a good shade of blue, with rips that add to the more careless look. I’m currently looking for a new pair of grey/blue jeans if anyone has any recommendations!

Nike Air Force 1 – ASOS – I love white trainers and I’ve been obsessed with my Air Force ever since I got them. An all white and blue denim look is soo crisp I love it. Air Force are super versatile and go with anything, especially the all white ones, they’ve been in fashion for years so if you’re thinking about getting some do it you won’t regret it!

Classic Timberlands for Winter

I always try to bring my Timberlands out at this time of year because they’re great for when the weathers not good and make the perfect statement with any outfit. This outfit is very weather appropriate and comfy as well as looking fashionable!

Calvin Klein T-shirt – ASOS – I love my t-shirts as you know, they’re just so easy to wear and style. I love Calvin Klein as a brand and will definitely be looking at getting another t-shirt from them soon as they’re amazing quality. Also, this t-shirt is from the mens range as sometimes they have better designs and fit better as a lot of women’s tops are cropped!

Ripped Jamie Jeans – Topshop – I thought my ripped jeans would go the best with this outfit as I’m clearly going for the rugged look with the Timbs and natural hair hahaha. Jamie Jeans also have the best fit, if you’re looking for a staple skinny jean this is the way to go.

Borg Jacket – Topshop – I have actually been living in this jacket since I got it because it’s honestly so warm and fits perfectly. The pockets are also huge so I can throw absolutely everything in them when a bag isn’t necessary. If you don’t have a coat like this I highly recommend one for the colder months, I need to find a huge scarf now…

Timberland Premium Boots – Office – I got my Timberlands for my 16th birthday! I’m 20 in a few months… I haven’t worn them a massive amount but as well as being very practical in the winter they can look so cool if you style them well. They’re not the comfiest I have to admit, but throw on some fluffy socks and you’re good to go.

*e.buckled Medium Black belt – Depop – As my t-shirt is tucked in I had to add a cool belt to tie everything together, I love the belts from e.buckled because you can’t find them in shops and they’re super different and cool. You can alter the length and they offer various thicknesses and colours at really affordable prices, you should check out their Depop if you haven’t heard of them.

What I got for Christmas…

Merry Christmas!!! I can’t believe the big day is over already, December went way too fast for my liking! As I did one last year, I thought I’d do a post on the main things I got for Christmas this year, I’m super grateful for everything and I hope everyone had an amazing day with friends and family.

Pandora Sparkling Strand Bracelet – Pandora – I have been eyeing this bracelet up for a while but didn’t want to buy it myself hahaha. I’ve been wearing a similar bracelet to this for a while but the quality isn’t great as it wasn’t sterling silver. I’ll definitely be wearing this every single day because it’s super minimalist and sparkly!

Mario Badescu Silver Powder – Beauty Bay – I’ve been wanting to try more Mario Badescu skincare products for a while so I was very grateful to receive a few things from there. I haven’t used it yet but I’m looking forward to trying the Silver Powder as I have oily skin so it will be interesting to see if this improves it.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion – Beauty Bay – I’ve been seeing people using this for years which is why I stuck it on my list. I’m very lucky in that I don’t get much acne but when I do get it I can use this!

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion – Beauty Bay – This is another product I’m eager to try! This is meant to target those annoying under the skin spots which are often worse than actual spots so I will be back with a skincare post soon to tell you all about it!

RCMA Powder – Beauty Bay – A few people have recommended this to me as, again, my skin can get oily through the day and I am in need of a good setting powder. I will be back with a review!!

Nivea Lip Balm – Superdrug – I literally received 8 of these… This specific Nivea lip balm is one of my favourites and you will catch me applying it basically throughout every single day. I’m a little bit obsessed with lip balm and have been for a few years even though I’ve heard it can dry your lips out even more…

Popsockets – Checker Black, Ghost Marble, Avocado – I’m going back to the Popsockets hype because I miss them! There was a time where I had a Popsocket on my phone case literally for two years. There’s sooo many designs now and you can swap them so easily. They also make a great stand and make it so much easier to hold your phone, especially because mine is huge.

Calvin Klein White T-Shirt – Topman – I have been wanting a basic CK tee for ages and my girls pulled through with this one for me, I absolutely love it and it makes a great addition to my ever growing t-shirt collection.

Clinique ‘Lash Line Love’ set – Debenhams – I thought this was a lovely gift set when I opened it! Especially because I am in need of a new mascara and I have never tried an eyelash primer before!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and see you in the new year!

A/W Teddy Coat staple

I’m in love with this outfit, I’m finally dressing for A/W and I actually like it! If you’re looking for a teddy coat or wondering how to wear it, read below!

Borg zip up jacket – Topshop – This is the comfiest, cosiest jacket ever! I’ve been wanting a jacket like this for literally months, I don’t have anything similar and I just know I’m going to be living in it! The pockets are huge which is fab because I can throw everything in there. You can get these coats from anywhere and they’re perfect for this time of year because they’re warm and can be worn with anything.

Black ripped Jamie jeans – Topshop – I’ve been wanting some basic ripped knee jeans for a while but I waited for Black Friday before I bought them so I could get a deal! They fit just as perfectly as my others and the rips are in the perfect place, as sometimes they’re too low or too high which is annoying.

Britney Spears graphic tee – Missguided – I’m a huge Britney fan so getting this tee was a no-brainer, its quite retro looking which I think is cool and it’s actually super comfy. I got a size large which is perfect for tying or tucking in as I usually go for the oversized look. It’s also more of an off-white colour, which is handy to know if you’re looking to purchase.

Checkerboard Slip-ons – Vans, JD, Sole Trader – The colour of these slip-ons went perfectly with the tee as they’re a nude shade, a bright white shoe wouldn’t go as well because the tee isn’t true white. I will literally find a pair of slip-ons to go with any outfit though…

Christmas gift & decor ideas

I’ve decided to do a Christmas themed post this week as we’re fast approaching the big day! I know a lot of people haven’t started decorating yet or even started Christmas shopping so I’m compiling a guide to gifts and some ideas for decorating your home!

Gift guide:

  • Skincare/bodycare gift sets are always a safe bet when you’re struggling on what to buy, there’s a huge variety of sets out there. Your local Boots and Superdrug have some really good ones on offer! As well as beauty sites as such as Beauty Bay and Cult Beauty.
  • Perfume/aftershave is another good idea if you know someone has a favourite scent, there’s usually gift sets around at this time of year as well. Some shops to check out for those are Boots, The Perfume Shop, The Fragrance Shop and Debenhams.
  • Jewellery I know is quite popular, from earrings to a pretty bracelet you can’t really go wrong here, as long as the person you’re buying for wears jewellery! A few places to look are Pandora, H. Samuel, Warren James, Tiffany&Co and Swarovski.
  • Clothing can be a risky present but if you’re buying for someone with a favourite brand it can be easy, a t-shirt or sweatshirt by a brand someone loves can be a perfect gift. Also a gift card for a favourite shop is another idea. Some clothing shops selling popular brands are Foot Asylum, ASOS, JD Sports, Footlocker, to name a few.
  • Gin is a huge thing at the minute and there’s new flavours coming out all the time. If you know someone who enjoys a gin, buying them a unique flavour or just one you know they like is a good gift option.
  • At Christmas time you usually see a lot of biscuit and chocolate boxes in supermarkets and shops, everyone loves a nice biscuit or chocolate selection, especially at Christmas.
  • Pyjamas, loungewear, dressing gowns, slippers, etc are a perfect gift in the winter. They aren’t often things you go out and buy yourself, so giving or receiving them as gifts is perfect. Some places to check out are Next, Primark, Topshop and New Look.

Decor inspiration:

As soon as we go into December I’m ready to start decorating because as soon as the tree is up, you start to feel Christmassy. A few shops that I know have good Christmas ranges are Matalan, Dunelm, Wilko and The Range. I’ve created a Pinterest board with loads of decoration inspiration for you to look at, Pinterest is a great place for finding ideas for anything! I’ve also included some photos of the decor we have in our house this year!

Logos & Knitwear

The weather seems to be getting colder as the weeks go by and it isn’t even winter yet! I decided to invest in a few jumpers to keep me warm-ish… who else is counting down the days until summer?

Off Shoulder Knitted Jumper – Missguided – I love the colour of this jumper, it’s more off white which goes perfectly with my Checkerboard Vans. I love a good slouchy jumper, they’re cosier than tighter fitting ones and they look cute when they’re tucked in at the front. It’s not the warmest jumper, as it is quite thin, but throw on a jacket or coat and you’re good to go.

Jamie Jeans – Topshop – As I’m not the biggest fan of trousers, I wear jeans with most of my outfits, I do keep trying to spice it up with my bottoms but I always end up going back to jeans!

Logo Bralette – Victoria’s Secret – I’ve seen a few people wearing bras with logo straps and I wanted to get one for myself as they’re perfect for under jumpers or tops. They just add a little more to your outfit than a plain strap or no strap! They’re also soo comfy, I even wear mine to the gym, obsessed.

Checkerboard Slip-ons – Vans – My checkerboards went really well with this outfit as they are off white, the same as the jumper. If I could recommend one pair of slip-ons it would be these as they’re super versatile and go with anything.

Tommy & Air Force

I loved this outfit for a shopping and wandering day in Leeds, we also found some really pretty spots to get photos!

Tommy Jeans T-Shirt from Tommy Hilfiger. Similar at Foot Asylum, JD, ASOS, Tommy Hilfiger – I’ve been wanting a Tommy t-shirt for the longest time as I just love the brand. I managed to pick up the perfect one at a Designer Outlet, which is why I’ve had to link similar as I couldn’t find the exact one online. As you may know, I love white tees so adding a Tommy Hilfiger one to the collection was absolutely a must! I prefer simplistic designs on my t-shirts so this one was perfect. I wore the tee

Black Jamie Jeans – Topshop – These jeans are all I wear because they’re super comfy and surprisingly haven’t faded too much. I also picked up some more in the Black Friday sales…

Grey faux fur hooded jacket from Primark. Similar at Missguided – I’ve spoken about this jacket in a previous post but as I’ve been living in it recently I had to include it again. It was honestly a bargain from Primark and is super good quality! Grey goes with literally anything so if I’m ever in a rush, which is usually the case, I know I can just throw this on and it’ll look good!

White Nike Air Force 1 – ASOS – I remember wanting Air Force 1’s about four years ago but never ended up getting any. They’ve been in fashion for years and are one of those iconic shoes that you need. I’m super glad I finally bought some because they just look so fresh. I’m also going to make sure they stay white!!

Black Tote Bag from New Look. Similar at ASOS, H&M, New Look – I got this bag back in summer and I don’t use it very often! However it’s perfect for days out when I’m taking my camera because it fits everything in nicely. Tote bags are perfect for when you have a lot to carry around because they hold a lot and still look good.

Double ring belt – River Island – This is my go-to belt because I can wear it with jeans, skirts and even shorts. An outfit often looks boring without a belt and I usually just go for silver detailing because I prefer that over gold.

A/W Skincare

I haven’t done a skincare post in a few months and I have a few new products to tell you about so I hope you enjoy reading!

Micellar Cleansing Water – Primark – I’m usually scared to try new skincare products as my skin is quite sensitive so I don’t want it to react to anything, so I was nervous to try this! I was very pleasantly surprised as it didn’t irritate my skin at all. I will definitely be using this from now on as it’s so cheap!!

Aloe Scrub – Forever Living – I love a facial scrub, I think they really help clean your skin, especially if you’re wearing makeup most days. This Aloe Scrub is quite gentle and not hard on the skin, so you can use it everyday and is definitely worth looking into if you’re interested in a new scrub. There’s lots of other skincare products as well as drinks and other nutritional items here. If you live in the Huddersfield area, like the Facebook page if you’re interested in trying some products or finding out more information.

Aloe Vera Gelly – Forever Living – This is definitely a must have for everybody, I’ve been using Aloe Gelly for years as it’s perfect for sunburns and any cuts and grazes. It’s purpose is to soothe and calm irritation so it’s perfect to have just in case!

Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream – Superdrug, Boots – I saw a few Youtubers using this recently so I decided to give it a try and I love it. It’s a hand and body moisturiser as well which is perfect because it’s super annoying having three separate moisturisers!

Bioderma Photoderm Tinted Cream – Feel Unique – I use this everyday without fail and have done for most of the year. I don’t wear foundation so I use this to make my skintone more even and a little darker. One tube probably lasts around four months which is really good as I sometimes use a lot!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray – Beauty Bay – Mario Badescu facial sprays are the only ones I have tried but the Aloe one is definitely my favourite as I prefer the scent over the others. I also just love Aloe if you couldn’t already tell! I remember when every Youtuber was obsessed with these sprays last year, even though it’s died down now, the product is still amazing!

St Tropez Self Tan Facial Oil – Beauty Bay, Boots – If you’re anything like me and your face doesn’t tan and you’re quite pale then you need this in your daily routine! I use it every night and I wake up with a little more colour in my face! You don’t see many of these products around either, more brands need to make them!!

Garnier Pure Active Charcoal Mask – Superdrug – I’ve been using this mask for a few months now and I really like it, I prefer these kind of masks over sheet masks as I feel like they work better. This one is super exfoliating and really cleanses your face!

Lazy Oaf x Vans & Striped belts

The Lazy Oaf x Vans collection is so cute, I’ve been wanting the slip-ons for a while as they’re different from the ones I already have. This neutral outfit is super casual and definitely sums up my style.

Magazine T-shirt – Stradivarius – This tee is out of stock at the minute but you can still find it on the website and then to be notified when it’s back! I love the block design on this tee as I don’t own another similar. I’m also a fan of the book and film series which is a bonus!

Black Jamie Jeans – Topshop – These are the perfect black jeans, they don’t fade and fit perfectly as they are sized on waist and length!

Lazy Oaf Checkerboard Slip-ons – Vans – I love the unique design and black soles on these Checkerboards. Slip-ons are so comfy and go with anything! I’ve been wanting these ones by Lazy Oaf for a few months as the black sole is quite rare to find on slip-ons so they’re different from my others.

Grey faux fur hooded jacket from Primark. Similar at New Look, Missguided, PLT – I practically live in this jacket because it’s perfect for the autumnal weather, it’s not too thick but it’s not too thin either. Primark’s jackets lately are amazing, if you haven’t already you should definitely check their range out!

Canvas belt – Missguided – It’s quite rare I wear jeans without a belt as I feel they can really pull an outfit together. I love how long this canvas one is because it really makes a statement. I haven’t seen many of this style of belt in shops however, they are quite a rare find.
