What I got for Christmas 2017

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by friends, family and good food !!

Here are a FEW of my favourite things I got for Christmas as well as my new outfit for Christmas day.

Dressing gown (no longer available) – Next – This dressing gown is literally my entire life and I will be living in it for the foreseeable. It’s so fluffy and cosy and I’m so obsessed.

Mule slippers – Next – In true Lauren fashion I recieved two pairs of slippers this Christmas, these are more for the winter months and going outside, they are also really good quality!

Slider slippers (no longer available) – Next – These slippers are more for the warmer months, they’re so cute and fluffy, also really good quality from Next!

Tangle Teaser – Topshop – I have been needing a Tangle Teaser brush for a while now so I’m super happy I got one, it’s so much easier than the standard Tangle Teaser.

Morphe 25B – Beauty Bay – I love nude, brown and glittery eyeshadow shades and I already have two Morphe palettes as I love them so much so this is a perfect addition to the collection.

Mario Badescu facial spray – Beauty Bay – Everyone seems to have been obsessing over this so I knew I had to put it on my Christmas list, it’s so refreshing and I literally use it all the time.

Vans – Vans – Slip-on Vans are one of my favourite shoes and I’ve loved the checkered ones for so long I’m so glad I got them!

Chilly’s bottle – Chilly’s – I’ve wanted a Chilly’s bottle for a while as I love the whole concept of them so I was so happy to receive one!

Yankee Candles – Vanilla Bourbon, Summer Scoop, Vanilla Cupcake, Snowflake Cookie, Strawberry Buttercream

Jeans – New Look – I’ve been needing some ripped black jeans for a while and New Look jeans are my fave.

T-shirt – Topshop – I loooove this t-shirt, any white t-shirt with a slogan on sums me up so this was perfect!

I absolutely love Christmas, December is my favourite and this year I decided I would put a few decorations in my room…

Small present – Dunelm Mill

As soon as I saw this I knew I had to get it, it’s my favourite decoration in my whole house and it’s sooo pretty.

Glass tree – Morrisons

I wanted a small tree in my room as it’s not big enough for a big one and this is perfect. The fact it’s silver and glittery fits in with my colour scheme as well.

I think this is really cute even though the glitter gets everywhere hahaha.

Snowflake Cookie candle – Yankee Candle

This is my favourite candle out of the two and I love it so much, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without this scent.

I love this scent, it’s more subtle but still lovely.

Barbie & Puma ft. Kiran

This week I paired up with my blogger bestie Kiran to take a few pics in our Barbie tees and Pumas for an casual, off-duty OOTD.

T-shirt – I have 3 Barbie x Missguided t-shirts now and they’re so comfy and have a perfect fit, I literally love the whole range so much.

Jeans – New Look are my favourite place to get jeans from and these are so cute with the distressed bottoms and ripped knees. I was also in need of a pair that weren’t black as that’s basically all I wear otherwise.

Platform Pumas

This week I decided to treat myself to a pair of Platform Trace Pumas as they’ve been highly recommended and they look amazing! I also couldn’t resist the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales… I’ve been wanting some all black trainers for a while and these are the first ones I’ve seen and loved. I’m loving the creeper sole at the minute and the look that they give is fab. I love my trainers as you might know and I try and keep them super clean so they last years. The colour is perfect for the winter months and they will go with so many outfits, I’m so excited to get wearing them!

Everyday autumn makeup

I thought I’d share my makeup look/routine for those of you who are interested in the products I use everyday. I rarely make any drastic changes to my routine as once I like a product I stick with it, it’s easier that way as well as I’m not too bothered about makeup brands and getting the latest products.

Morphe 35OS palette – This palette is my favourite as I love shimmery shades and the variety of light and dark shades are perfect. I don’t always wear eyeshadow because I’m usually always in a rush to get ready but when I do this is my go to.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara – I got this mascara in a giftset and I actually love it, the wand is super long which makes it easy to use.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – I’ve been using this for a few months now and I love it, it gives a nice bronze that isn’t too heavy.

Mac Prep + Prime Fix + – I don’t even know if this helps my makeup but I love using Fix + because of the idea that it’s going to make my makeup last longer, I also feel like it hydrates my skin which I love.

Tanya Burr Perfect Brows – I switched between eyebrow products for ages and I finally found this one that works, I’ve been using it for over a year now and you would think I bought it a month ago with how much I have left.

Nyx Control Freak – This gel is amazing and sets my eyebrows in place allll day!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – I’ve used this concealer for literally years now and everyone knows how good it is for the price.

L’Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base – This primer really helps my makeup stay in place all day and if I don’t use it I can usually tell because my makeup doesn’t sit right.

e.l.f Perfect Finish HD Powder – This is really good to set my makeup and make my face matte as I prefer that look.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick – I love this shade as it’s a perfect nude!

Grey faux fur

I just got this amazing grey faux fur coat and I’m actually obsessed. I wasn’t 100% when it arrived but it definitely grew on me, if you were to cop this I’d definitely size down as it’s huge. I’ve been wanting a coat like this for ages and I much prefer the grey over black, it’s honestly as fluffy as you’d imagine and it’s so cosy, perfect for those colder days.

Black, grey & sparkles

Recently I’ve added a few new things to my room and reorganised what’s on my shelves as I thought it needed a bit of a re-vamp, the title of this post sums up the theme of my room and are my favourite concepts.

I love a bit of interior design and as I spend a lot of time in my room it has to be just the way I want it. I also hate clutter so everything has to have a place and too many things on a shelf is a pet peeve of mine, I tried to make sure my shelves  had frames and ornaments of different sizes and heights so it was in proportion. I love my cushions and I think 3 is the perfect amount for the size of my bed as anymore would be too much, the patterns and textures of my cushions really sum up my favourites right now.
